Map and Areas

The monster forest is the true main character of Survived 67 Days. This map page teaches you to think in regions and routes inside Miller Studio’s Roblox survival experience: where to plant a camp, how to ring gather loops, when caves become boss dens, and how landmarks support the board hunts described in Monsters and Bosses.

Pair with Build Camp, Find Gear, and Survive Blood Moon.

Mental map layers

  1. Camp core — walls, storage, craft, fallback corner
  2. Gather ring — two-to-four minute resource circle
  3. Edge belt — scouting line where new landmarks appear
  4. Cave network — high reward, high panic
  5. Boss landmarks — Eye, Ghost, Crowman, King, snake dens you can rediscover

If you only memorize “go left from spawn,” every wipe resets your brain. Name landmarks out loud in co-op.

Choosing a foothold region

Prefer:

  • Multiple exits
  • Nearby wood/food nodes
  • Space for a kite lane
  • Audible/visual warning distance for raids

Avoid:

  • One-bridge gimmicks
  • Building on a boss porch
  • Deep fog hollows with no sky cues for moon timing

Getting Started covers the first foothold decision; this page owns the regional logic afterward.

Gather rings that respect timers

Draw rings that return you home before Blood Moon danger windows. Expand a ring only after you survive it twice. Crowman-style speed rewards from the board let rings grow safely—do not grow them first and pray.

Sample early ring objectives: food node, repair mats, one low-risk chest, home. Sample mid ring: add a cave mouth scouting peek without committing to a full clear.

Caves as areas, not loot pinatas

Mark cave mouths as their own area type. Before entry, ask:

  • Do we have food?
  • Is the moon timer safe?
  • Is this a planned Beat Bosses hunt or a peek?
  • Who calls disengage?

Snake and high-diff dens belong on your map as red landmarks. If you cannot describe how to return to camp from the mouth, you are not ready to farm it.

Boss landmarking

After each intentional kill, write a breadcrumb: “Eye near shattered stones south of pine camp,” “Ghost by pale clearing,” “Crow along ridge,” “King past the deep approach,” “Snake under the dark mouth.” These breadcrumbs turn Boss Difficulty from abstract letters into calendar plans.

Blood Moon geography

Raids care about approaches. If your camp faces three open fog lanes, you need more callers or tighter walls. Funneling terrain is a map feature—use natural chokepoints without soft-locking your escape. Rehearse the run from gate to fallback without monsters present.

Co-op map hygiene

In online lobbies:

  • Share landmark names early
  • Ping cave mouths
  • Announce when you expand the edge belt
  • Do not drag a patrol across someone else’s gather ring without warning

Public servers can feel crowded; map manners prevent friendly wipe chains.

Expansion philosophy

Expand knowledge before you expand walls. A huge base in an unknown region is a larger target you cannot navigate. Learn two new landmarks per session, then stop—see Days Progress Tips.

Outposts belong only after the core is raid-stable. Never store Demon King prestige in a disposable shed.

Tools that support mapping

Route cards you can copy

Camp-to-pines ring: leave west gate, hug the brighter tree line, grab food and wood, return before the timer dips into danger. Say the landmarks aloud once so co-op partners can reuse them.

Cave-mouth scout: walk to the dark entrance, mark it, refuse the third chest if you did not pack a hunt kit, and leave with the same breadcrumbs you arrived on.

Boss breadcrumb night: visit one board landmark only—Eye stones, ghost clearing, crow ridge, king approach, or snake mouth—then bank knowledge at camp. Map skill is renewable loot; corpses are not.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Blood Moon survival, codes, bosses, and camp progress.

How should I memorize the map?

Name landmarks and gather rings out loud, expand one ring at a time, and breadcrumb boss dens after intentional kills.

Where should I build my first camp?

Pick a foothold with multiple exits, nearby resources, kite space, and warning distance—not a dead-end gimmick spot.

When are caves worth entering?

When food and timers are safe, and your lobby agrees whether the run is a peek or a planned boss hunt.

Do outposts replace a main camp?

No. Outposts are advanced convenience tools. Keep irreplaceable rewards in a raid-stable core.
